DovePOS 6.3 Makes Easy Work of Event Planning

Dove POS version 6.3 is here, and with it comes the new Event Manager Module!

The Event Manager Module schedules and manages all special events hosted by florist shops, allowing florists to set up tasks, consultations and proposals on a specially designed event calendar which keeps users organized from the first consultation to the day of the big event.  The Event Manager module takes the hassle out of invoicing and order fulfillment, while simultaneously wowing customers with professionally designed proposals and impeccable consultation notes.

Florists now have the power to set up custom reminders and task lists directly from Dove POS.  Keep everyone involved in the process up to date using Role Checklists, which lets users view, edit, and add tasks to each member of an event’s vital participants.

Hand written consultation notes and proposals are now a thing of the past.  The Event Manager Module allows florists to lay out an event and provide clear and concise directions to their customers. Easy to read, well organized proposals give customers peace of mind knowing that their event is in good hands, and since the Event Manager Module allows you to send invoices, proposals, and other documents via email directly from Dove POS, florists can deliver peace of mind on-demand.  Best of all, florists can completely customize their proposals to specifically meet the needs of their shop, and their customers.

Florists now have instant access to customizable reports and information regarding event locations, vendors, products and other variables ensuring the most streamlined and personalized experience possible. 

Other Enhancements

  • Order Numbers - Order Numbers are now displayed in Order Entry. When an order is created, the order number is displayed beside the Notes icon in the Order Entry window.
  • Take Account Payments (Overpayment) - With the addition of Event Manager, DovePOS now allows overpayments to be made towards accounts by credit and debit cards. This can be done through the Take Account Payment window. Any overpayments made on an account will be listed as Unapplied Credits.
  • Video Tutorials - Every year we create a large array of new video tutorials to assist you and your employees in learning the ins and outs of DovePOS. Now, we’ve made it even easier to access those video tutorials. The Links section of DovePOS now includes a link to DovePOS Video Tutorials. Clicking that link will open directly to the DovePOS tutorial section of MyTeleflora.
